Follow these 4 steps to connect your catalogue to the cloud. Takes about 5 minutes — only done once!
Go to console.firebase.google.com → sign in with your Google account → click "Create a project" → name it gladies → click Continue until done.
Inside your project, click "Build" → "Realtime Database" → click "Create Database" → choose your region → select "Start in test mode" → click Enable.
Go to Project Settings (gear icon ⚙️ top left) → scroll down → click "Add app" → Web icon </> → nickname it gladies-web → click Register → copy the firebaseConfig object shown.
Paste the entire firebaseConfig = { ... } block below and click Connect:
⚠ Could not connect — please check your config and make sure databaseURL is included.
